This Privacy Policy explains how CARD USA LLC ("Cardlove", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit cardlove.com, place an order, or contact our customer service. It also describes the privacy choices available to you.

CARD USA LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. Your name, shipping and billing address, e-mail address, telephone number, account login details, order and return details, and the content of messages you send to our customer service.
Photos, images and designs you upload. To produce a personalized product we need the files, text and design choices you submit. See Section 4 for how we handle them.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment service providers. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the payment method and the last digits of your card. We do not store complete payment card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you use our website we automatically collect your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language settings, referring website, the pages and products you view, search terms, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with our site. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5.
Information from third parties. We may receive information from our payment providers, shipping carriers, fraud prevention services, and analytics and advertising partners.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, health data, biometric identifiers, or information about race, religion or sexual orientation. Please do not send us such information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
a) produce, package and ship your order and process your payment;
b) send order confirmations, shipping notifications and other service messages;
c) handle returns, complaints, warranty claims and customer service requests;
d) create and administer your customer account;
e) detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents;
f) measure how our website is used and improve our products, site and service;
g) send marketing e-mails where you have signed up or where permitted by law, and to measure advertising performance;
h) comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Your Photos, Images and Designs
We use the files you upload solely to produce your order and to handle reprints, warranty claims and customer service requests relating to that order. We retain them only as long as needed for those purposes and then delete them.
We do not use your uploaded photos or designs for advertising, we do not publish them, and we do not sell them or make them available to third parties for their own purposes. Production partners who print your order receive them only to fulfill that order and act on our instructions.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
a) Strictly necessary cookies, which keep your shopping cart and session working and cannot be switched off;
b) Functional cookies, which remember settings such as your language or region;
c) Analytics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used;
d) Advertising cookies, which allow us and our advertising partners to measure campaign performance and to show you Cardlove ads on other websites.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can control advertising cookies as described in Section 7. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
6. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only as described here:
Service providers. Production and print partners, shipping carriers, payment service providers, hosting and IT providers, customer service tools, e-mail delivery services and fraud prevention services. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
Analytics and advertising partners. We work with Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Google tag) and Microsoft (Microsoft Advertising) to measure site usage and advertising performance and to show you our ads on other sites. See Section 7 for your choices.
Affiliated companies. We may share information with companies affiliated with CARD USA LLC where they support production, logistics, IT or customer service.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or court order, or where necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged or reorganized, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
7. Advertising and Your Choices
We use advertising cookies together with Google and Microsoft so that we can measure how our campaigns perform and show you Cardlove ads on other websites. Under the privacy laws of California and certain other states, this may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as "targeted advertising".
You can limit or switch this off at any time:
a) manage or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's tracking protection features;
b) adjust your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
c) adjust your Microsoft advertising settings at account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings;
d) use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
You can also ask us directly to stop using your personal information for advertising purposes. E-mail us at service@cardlove.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and we will action your request.
Opting out of advertising cookies does not stop us from showing you ads; it stops those ads from being tailored to you. We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16 for targeted advertising.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
a) know what personal information we hold about you and how we use and share it;
b) request a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
c) correct inaccurate personal information;
d) request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements;
e) opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of personal information, as described in Section 7;
f) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, e-mail us at service@cardlove.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify your request using information already associated with your account or order, such as your e-mail address and order number, and we will respond within 45 days. If we need more time we will tell you and may extend by a further 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission that we can verify.
If we decline your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. California residents may also request information about disclosures to third parties for direct marketing purposes under California's "Shine the Light" law.
9. Marketing E-Mails and Text Messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing e-mails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such e-mail or by contacting us. We will stop sending them promptly. We will still send you transactional messages about your orders.
We send marketing text messages only where you have given prior express written consent. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
10. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy. Order, invoice and tax records are kept for as long as required by applicable law. Uploaded image files are deleted once they are no longer needed for your order, reprints or warranty claims. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls limiting who can view your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account password confidential and contact us if you believe your account has been misused.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at service@cardlove.com and we will delete it.
13. Where Your Information Is Processed
We operate from the United States and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and in other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. If you access our website from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your own country.
14. Third-Party Websites and Social Media
Our website may link to sites we do not control, and we maintain profiles on social media platforms. This Policy does not cover those sites or platforms. When you interact with us there, the platform's own privacy policy governs its handling of your data.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, where the changes are material, we will provide additional notice on our website. Please review this page periodically.
